Shine Theatre Company is excited to present its first musical: Matilda - a musical adaptation of the book by Roald Dahl. In production from July through October, kids will have amazing opportunities to grow their talents in acting, singing and choreography through this madcap story of courage, friendship and heart. Join Matilda as she faces her circumstances, discovers unexpected gifts, and unleashes her full potential.
Auditions will be open to kids ages 8-19 with some additional adult roles available. You can view a list of cast roles here. Auditionees will need to bring a headshot photo (just any simple picture of your fabulous face will do!) and come prepared with a one-minute monologue, as well as a 32-count music selection from any musical of your choice (please no music from Matilda). Please also familiarize yourself with the script excerpts that will be sent to you after registering for auditions.
