5th & 6th Grade

Sunday Mornings | 10:45am

Preteens are at an age where they begin to develop their self-identity. It’s an exciting and demanding time as they are going through so many changes developmentally and socially. We strive to meet students where they’re at and challenge them to take the next step. The vision of the H56 ministry is to get students to know and comprehend the Gospel.

The 5th & 6th grade room is located on the south end of the Student Building and meets Sunday mornings at 10:45am as well as Wednesday evenings during the school year at 6:30pm.

Our mission is for students to understand the weight of what Jesus has done on the cross. We want students to know that not only through Jesus are they made clean, but they are also truly a new creation. We want them to understand what it looks like to live as a new creation.

“Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come.” 2 Corinthians 5:17

H56 Winter Camp 2020 | January 25-26 | $175

5th & 6th grade students will have a chance to get away from their every day lives to learn about God, worship, and have fun with their church community. The weekend will be filled with fun, learning, and connecting with other students and their leaders.

nerf war | Saturday, March 7th, 2020 | Senior High Room | 6:00pm

Join us for our annual 5th & 6th grade Nerf War! This event is a fun-filled event where students get to come, enjoy dinner, and have a big Nerf gun fight with each other, and with their leaders. Nerf guns and ammo are provided. If your student wants to bring their own Nerf gun, they are welcome to. Please encourage your student to leave their own Nerf ammo at home as we don't want it to get mixed up with ours, and then lost. We will provide plenty of ammo for them to use. Rival Nerf guns are not allowed.

This is a turnaround event where the idea is that your students are encouraged to invite their friends to the event, have them sleepover, and then return to church with them the following morning to hear a message about God. If you have any questions about this, please let us know!

Cost is $10 per student.
