9:00 & 10:45am in the Senior High Room
With a presidential election this November, politics is infiltrating nearly every aspect of life and culture. As Christians, how should we view the political landscape of the U.S.? How do we navigate the challenges of choosing a candidate to vote for? What happens when we don't feel like any candidate represents our values? Does the Bible encourage getting involved in the political process, or should we consider ourselves outsiders and not engage? Has the world just gone crazy? What is God up to? We'll explore these questions and answer some of yours as well during this class discussion.
This class will be hosted by our Pastor of Adult Education, Joe Infranco, as well as his guest Dr. Jeffery Ventrella. Jeff has practiced law since 1985, serving in private practice, non-profit Christian work with Alliance Defending Freedom, as well as serving as the Associate Attorney General for Idaho on the AG's Executive Team. His PhD research focused on Church/State studies. He has lectured and published widely, and currently leads TruthXChange, a non-profit ministry engaging in cultural apologetics.
