It’s hard to build something without instructions. God’s design for families is that they would be the primary place of discipleship for the next generation. So how do we follow God’s instructions and intentionally build our family relationships on the foundation of Jesus Christ? What model does God provide in the Bible for the family?
When we think about the future, how do we make sure we’re following God’s direction for our lives? People often try to build their lives on things like success, career, money, recreation, fame, or even just comfort and ease. But the Bible is going to teach us that unless we put God at the center of everything we do, our pursuits will ultimately come up short. What foundation is your life built upon?
People try to find hope in many ways - through people, experiences, achievements, substances - the list goes on. But the hope we have in Christ is different. It's a hope that actually grows out of the hard times we encounter as we trust in God and as the Holy Spirit sustains us with His love.
As the world searches for peace, the truth of the gospel is that true peace - peace with God - only comes through the saving work of Jesus. There is no greater gift than Jesus Christ. Have you told someone about this gift of grace and shared the hope you have?
God always keeps His promises. All throughout the Bible we see example after example of God's faithfulness in fulfilling the promises He makes to people and nations. His greatest promise - the promise of a savior - was fulfilled in Jesus Christ. We can confidently put all our trust in the one who never breaks a promise.

How do we get to heaven? Some think it's by being 'good' enough, some think it's because of their family heritage, and others may think it's through performing some kind of ritual. But the truth of the gospel is that none of those things save us - it's always been through faith. Only faith in the free gift of grace found in Jesus Christ provides the way to be made right with God.
We don't have bragging rights when it comes to our salvation - instead, our goal should be to boast about the goodness of God and the grace we receive as a gift through His Son, Jesus Christ. And in response to that gift, our call is to glorify God in everything we do, shining His light to everyone around us.
The brokenness of our world makes it clear: we need God. But as people who are separated from God by sin, how do we 'get right' with Him? The good news is that God Himself provided everything we need through the life, death and resurrection of His Son Jesus Christ. There's nothing we can do to earn this grace - it's a free gift of God and His righteousness.
We'll never fully understand the gospel until we understand that we're sinners in need of a savior. We don't like to admit it, and we seek credit for the good things we do as if those things will get us closer to God. But the truth is, next to the standard of God's perfection, everyone falls short. Everyone is need of a savior.
