Highlands Senior High students have the opportunity to serve the city of Wichita, Kansas on a mission trip facilitated by our partners at Convoy of Hope. We'll be focusing on reaching neighborhoods through food banks, homeless ministries and more. Students will serve alongside local churches and nonprofits to assist with community cleanup programs, church revitalizations, and VBS outreaches. They'll also have the opportunity for relational ministry in addition to light construction and service projects.
Students will learn to be the hands and feet of Jesus and learn how they can serve in their own community when they return to Scottsdale.
The total trip cost is $650 for each student. Fundraising opportunities will be available throughout the winter and spring in preparation for the trip. Trip cost includes transportation (by vans or charter buses), lodging at a local church partner's church campus, as well as all meals and supplies along the way.
