Acting Up is a Shine Theatre program that brings students an incredible opportunity to shine on a national stage! This year, our talented team will travel to Anaheim, California, to participate in the Musical Theatre Competition of America (MTCA), where they’ll compete with performing arts companies and schools from across the nation.
Our students will showcase their talents both as a group and in individual performances, receiving valuable feedback from industry professionals. In addition to the thrill of competition, they’ll participate in workshops led by working actors, gaining insights into the world of professional theater. For a select few, there’s also the chance to audition for MTCA’s prestigious closing performance number!
