Feed 1,000 children for an entire year
Join us as we pack over 300,000 meals at Highlands in order to feed 1,000 malnourished children around the world for an entire year. This is a great opportunity to gather your family, friends, sports team or co-workers with a fun activity that makes a lasting difference in the lives of children in need.
Kids as young as 5 years old can participate as long as they are accompanied by an adult. You can sign up as an individual or sign up a group.
Registration opens August 24th.
Packing Shifts
Friday, September 26th
- Setup | 1:00-3:00pm
- Shift 1* | 4:00-5:30pm (*reduced capacity packing session for individuals with special needs)
- Shift 2 | 6:00-8:00pm
Saturday, September 27th
- Shift 3 | 9:00-11:00am
- Shift 4 | 12:00-2:00pm
- Shift 5 | 3:00-5:00pm
- Clean Up | 5:00-8:00pm
Stopping Malnutrition One Child at a Time
Volunteers are encouraged to make a donation to help pay for the meals. Each meal costs less than 30 cents! That means you can feed a child for 6 months for $53 or for a full year for $106. $424 feeds a family of four for an entire year! Cover the cost for one child or more with your donation today, or donate at the food packing event.
