 Meet our talented cast and crew from Shine Theatre's production of Tarzan: The Stage Musical!

Alexis Stoltz (Costumes Designer & Props Master) Alexis Stoltz has the honor and privilege of serving as both a costume designer and the props master for this production. She has been actively involved in the theatre community for nine years, contributing her creativity, dedication, and passion to every show she works on.  Throughout her career, Alexis has earned recognition for her work, including two Zoni Awards for her work on Shine’s Little Mermaid. Alexis thanks God everyday for the wonderful opportunity to work alongside such a talented team of believers and looks forward to sharing this heartwarming production with audiences.

Arianna Vitelli (Ensemble) - Arianna is so excited to be part of the ensemble in Tarzan! She was previously in Prince of Egypt, Footloose, and The Little Mermaid. She goes to Sonoran Trails Middle School and she loves doing basketball, jiu-jitsu, listening to music, yearbook club, and is part of her school's improv troupe.

Brendan Anderson (Assistant Music Director) - Brendan has led community music ensembles for over 20 years including community bands and orchestras, as well as leading the Highlands Church Worship Team for several years throughout the church's history. In the musical theatre world, he served as music director for a production of Annie with Off-Broadway Musical Theatre company in New Hope, Minnesota. Brendan studied music composition at Augsburg College in Minneapolis, as well as film music composition at UCLA in California.

BriAnna Schmidt (Ensemble) - BriAnna is thrilled to be a part of Tarzan The Musical with Shine Theatre Company. BriAnna previously appeared on stage in Abundant Grace (AzCAM) as Esther Daniels, and Chitty Chitty Bang Bang (MoezArt) as Miss Philips. In addition to acting, BriAnna teaches theatre to the next generation of thespians at Ignite Homeschool Ministries and volunteers as a music director at MoezArt Productions. When not involved in some sort of theatre, BriAnna works as a care-provider for adults with developmental disabilities. She would like to thank her family & friends, for always supporting her, the directing team at Shine for taking a chance on her, and to God, for helping her continue doing what she loves!

Brooklyn Lawrence (Young Terk) - My name is Brooklyn Lawrence and I play Young Terk in Shine Theatre's Tarzan play! I’ve done multiple Shine productions such as Mary Poppins, Sound of Music, and more! I have also performed in some skits at my school. Shine is such a blessing and I love the community it brings. Using my talents for God is amazing and so fun. I love acting and anything including the arts. I hope to use my passion for acting and singing in the future. I cannot wait for Shine’s next theatre production and I definitely recommend Shine theatre to anyone looking for an awesome starting point and community!

Brooklynn Liberatore (Ensemble) - Brooklynn (14) is very excited to be part of Tarzan! This is her 12th show with Shine Theater Company. She was recently in The Prince of Egypt (Ensemble), Footloose Youth Edition (Travis), The Little Mermaid (Ensemble), Anastasia (Teen Anastasia), High School Musical 2 Jr. (Ms. Darbus) Finding Nemo Jr. (Bruce/Tad's parent), The Sound Of Music (Ensemble), Mary Poppins (Ensemble), Descendants Jr. (Ensemble), The Wind In The Willows (Ensemble), and The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe (Ensemble). When she's not in school, she enjoys playing piano, guitar, and harmonica.

Caleb Schreckengost (Kerchak) - Caleb is thrilled to be playing Kerchak in Tarzan! This is his second show with Shine Theatre Company. His most recent role was an Advanced Dancer in Shine’s production of The Prince of Egypt. Outside of theatre, Caleb works as a personal trainer and is a sitting board member at the Schreckengost Future of Care Foundation. He also enjoys watching ice hockey and football with his family in his spare time. He is deeply grateful to his family, friends, and the entire Tarzan cast and crew for their encouragement and support along the way. Caleb is excited to bring this powerful story to life and hopes you enjoy the show as much as he has enjoyed being part of it!

Cherrie Underwood (Assistant Light Designer) - Cherrie Underwood is happy to join the TARZAN team as the Assistant Light Designer. God has been gracious to have enabled Cherrie to work in Technical Theatre since early High School in California. Here in the Valley, she has enjoyed light designing for some of her favorite shows: Newsies, Beauty and the Beast (Patriot Productions), and assisting with the light design for Prince of Egypt (SHINE). Cherrie is always proud and thrilled to watch her daughter, Kimberly Anderson (Kala) on stage. She is proud of her grandson Max, for coaching gorilla tricks. She absolutely loves working with Logan (light designer) and James (T.D.). She wishes to thank her husband, David, and their daughters for their encouragement and support.

Dylan Schodde (Ensemble) - Dylan is super excited to be a part of Tarzan, the Musical through Shine Theatre! She had a blast participating in The Jungle Book, at summer camp, and couldn't wait to spend more time on stage! Fun fact...she and her mom have seen almost every musical since Shine Theatre started at Highlands! Dylan is in 2nd grade at Scottsdale Christian Academy, loves being creative and anything to do with horses. In her spare time, you could find her creating something thoughtful and unique for her friends and family. She wants to thank Shine Theatre for this very special experience and loves the new friends she has made!

Ellie Richards (Young Tarzan) - Ellie Richards is excited to play Young Tarzan in Tarzan! She has appeared in six Shine Theatre productions, including Michael Banks in Mary Poppins, Marta in The Sound of Music, and ensemble roles in The Wind in the Willows, The Little Mermaid, and The Prince of Egypt. Ellie loves the magic of the stage and has a passion for acting and singing. Offstage, Ellie enjoys arts and crafts and spending time with her family and her dog, Kona. She is grateful to be part of an organization that helps her shine and loves learning choreography and performing alongside her friends. Known for her sweet spirit and positive attitude, Ellie is thrilled to be part of this cast.

Emerson “Emmie” Ramsower (Young Tarzan) - Emerson is thrilled to be bringing “Young Tarzan” to life, swinging through the jungle vines- in this production of ‘Tarzan the Musical’! She was most recently honored to portray “Young Miriam” during ‘The Prince of Egypt” here at Shine Theatre. Emerson has loved being a part of several Shine Theatre shows--with a couple of her most adventurous favorites being “Nemo” in ‘Finding Nemo’ and “Baloo the Bear” in ‘The Jungle Book’. When Emerson isn’t on stage, you can find her taking vocal/acting classes, dominating at 4 square at school…and, on occasion, she gets to be on set filming, or shooting an occasional youtube short. She’s especially grateful for the theatre family she’s made here at Shine, and all the love & support that they share with her!

Grace Matejsek (Jane Porter) - Grace Matejsek is thrilled to be making her fifth appearance with Shine, taking on the role of Jane. Her most recent credits with Shine include performing in the Advanced Dancer group in The Prince of Egypt and as Flotsam in The Little Mermaid. Currently a homeschooled high school student taking concurrent college classes, Grace is also a third-degree black belt in Tae Kwon Do. She has a passion for acting, singing, and dancing, and loves using her talents to glorify God. When she’s not on stage, she enjoys caring for animals and working with young children. She is incredibly grateful for this opportunity and excited to share this production with you.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​

Hannah Schreckengost (Young Terk & Jane U/S) - Hannah is beyond excited to be a part of Tarzan at Shine Theatre Company! This is her second show at Shine. Hannah has been in theater for 5 years and her favorite roles include Gertrude McFuzz in Seussical and being an Advanced Dancer in The Prince of Egypt. Hannah is a junior in high school and in her spare time she loves to sing, watch hockey, play with her puppy, and spend time with her family. She is very excited to be in this production alongside her 6 family members! Hannah would like to thank the directing team for always believing in her and pushing her to be the best she can be. Colossians 3:23! 

Homer Schreckengost (Ensemble) - Homer is excited to be part of Tarzan with Shine Theatre Company. Homer 's prior theater experience included Snyder in Disney's Newsies, Mr. Hoallum in Seven Brides for Seven Brothers, and Ensemble in The Prince of Egypt. He is an osteopathic physician and owner of Schreckengost Integrative Medicine. He is a sitting board member of the Schreckengost Future of Care Foundation. His medical expertise has landed him previous opportunities to participate as a national presenter for the Indiana Osteopathic Medicine Association and the Northeast Society of Teachers of Family Medicine. He has also been a medical consultant in promotional videos for nutritional supplements. Homer is excited to be in the cast with his family.

James Abbitt (Technical Director, Ensemble) - James has been actively involved in theatrical arts throughout his entire life. After finishing high school, he began his years of training and working behind the scenes for companies across the Valley. He wishes to use theater to spread the light of God to others.

Katelynn Radmacher (Ensemble) - Katelynn is thrilled to have such a fun opportunity with playing an ape in Tarzan!! She has been in Shine since September of last year! She was in the ensemble of the Prince of Egypt and had so much fun! She enjoys singing on the worship team and playing piano! She also loves baking, cooking, and reading! You may also find her at the pickleball courts with her Dad!

Kelly Schreckengost (Ensemble) - Kelly is excited to be a part of Tarzan at Shine Theatre Company. Her most recent roles include ensemble in The Prince of Egypt, Mrs. Hoallum in Seven Brides for Seven Brothers, and Patrick’s mom in Disney’s Newsies. Kelly holds her Master’s of Science in Speech Language Pathology from Indiana University of Pennsylvania. She is a sitting board member at The Schreckengost Future of Care Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit transforming access to integrative and personalized healthcare for those who need it most. Kelly enjoys spending her free time with her family and is thrilled to be performing alongside her six family members in this show. She gives all glory to her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ (Philippians 4:13).

Killian Thompson (Terk) - Killian is a freshman at Cactus Shadows High School. Killian has been in multiple other Shine shows; last year playing the part of Ren McCormack in Footloose. He has recently discovered an interest in light design, helping design and run the lights for Shine’s production of the Prince of Egypt. Outside of theater, he enjoys running for his school’s cross country team and he is also a part of the Highland’s worship team. Killian is grateful and would like to thank Laura and the creative team for trusting him to play the role of Terk and for all their time and effort they have poured into this show.

Kimberly Anderson (Kala) -This is Kimberly’s second show here at Shine and is honored to be playing Kala in Tarzan. Her first show at Shine was Prince of Egypt as a dancer. Kimberly has been performing since childhood with Dance, Musicals, and Acting and has worked in this field as well. She is thankful for her family for their support and God for giving her this opportunity.

Liam Burks (Ensemble) - Liam is excited to be swinging into his second show with Shine Theater in *Tarzan the Musical* as a jungle animal. Recent credits include *Prince of Egypt* (Shine Theater, Ensemble), *Disney’s Descendants* (CYT Colorado Springs, Ensemble/Museum Guard/Smitten Boy), and *Moana Showcase* (CYT Colorado Springs, Maui). Liam has trained through both Shine Theater and CYT and loves growing as a performer with each new role. Outside of the stage, he enjoys building friendships at Highlands Church, creating and inventing things, and playing with his dog, Sadie. His favorite scripture is Philippians 4:13. Liam sends big thanks to his mom and dad for their constant support, and especially to his big brother Zayden for always being there. 

Lily Gary (Ensemble) - Lily Elizabeth Gary is overjoyed to be a part of another Shine Theatre Production! For the past eight years, she has immersed herself in the world of theatre, taking on roles such as Nefertari in The Prince of Egypt, JoJo in Disney’s Newsies, Gollum in The Hobbit, and The Jester in Once Upon a Mattress, among many others. Her love for the stage goes far beyond performing—she’s worked in lighting, sound, makeup/costumes, backstage, music direction, and assistant directing. Lily is endlessly thankful for this production, the talented cast and crew, her supportive family, her incredible husband Simon, and above all, for how the Lord has provided every opportunity for her.

Logan Farrington (Lighting Designer) - Logan is excited to join Shine Theatre Company once again! Logan has been involved in the Phoenix theatre community for over ten years. In that time, he has been an actor, lighting designer, stagehand, assistant director, and stage manager, from high school stages across the Valley all the way to ASU Gammage. His most recent credits include Shine’s Anastasia (LD), The Little Mermaid (LD, Zoni nominated), and The Prince of Egypt (LD). In June, Logan will graduate with a Doctor of Pharmacy from Midwestern University and say a bittersweet “see you later” to Shine and to Arizona as he ships out with the United States Navy.

Lola Sherrard (Leopard/Ensemble) - Lola is a high school junior thrilled to be part of Tarzan, her 10th production. Some of her favorite roles include Edmond in The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe, Chief Weasel in The Wind in the Willows, Pirate/Native Islander in Peter Pan, and Beth in The Best Christmas Pageant Ever. Passionate about exploring a wide range of characters, Lola is also a black belt in karate, enjoys creating art, and is involved with the Civil Air Patrol. She appreciates the support from the creative team and her vocal instructor throughout her theatre journey.

Mason Nottoli (Father/Ensemble) - Mason (17) is honored to be taking part in his first full length production with Shine. He has starred in High School Musical (Zeke), Seussical the Musical, Frozen (Kristoff), Charlie and the Chocolate Factory (Grandpa Joe), Matilda (Mr. Wormwood), Legally Blonde, Les Miserables (Marius), and Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dream Coat (Pharaoh), as well as the Summer production of Footloose with Shine Theatre. He would like to thank his family and the Temple family for their support, give thanks to God for His guidance, and thank the Shine staff for making this experience possible.

Micah Schreckengost (Ensemble) - Micah is thrilled to be part of Tarzan the Musical with Shine Theatre Company. He recently appeared as an Advanced Dancer in The Prince of Egypt. After fracturing his L1 vertebra during one of the first rehearsals, Micah is especially excited to perform and share his love for dance with the audience. One of his favorite parts of this production has been learning the amazing choreography and lifts, as well as bonding with the incredible cast. Micah would like to thank Jesus, his Lord and Savior, for the strength, joy, and purpose to share his gifts on stage.

Noah Weaver (Tarzan) - Noah Weaver is beyond excited to make his return to the stage as TARZAN at Shine Theatre Company. Noah has previously worked with Blk Box PHX in Something Wicked This Way Comes as Jim Nightshade, and in his childhood he featured in many ensembles at the East China Performing Arts Center. Now he’s all grown up and ready to take his career to the next level. Outside of acting, Noah practices Muay Thai/Kickboxing, spending his time on the mats at TNT MMA and The MMA Lab, where he trains for competitions. He wants to thank his mother Holly for all the support in his career, as well as his girlfriend Mia for always being his rock to lean on.

Rosaleen McLernon (Mother) - Rosaleen is currently in Tarzan at Shine and has been in eight Shine shows since 2022. Rosaleen has also been in one production of The Play That Goes Wrong at her school.  She enjoys art and all things creative, including painting and drawing.

Savannah Wolfley (Leopard/Ensemble) - Savannah Wolfley is incredibly honored to be closing out her Senior year with Tarzan. Taking the stage is a lifelong passion, and she first gives all the glory to God for His constant guidance and the gift of performance. Savannah wants to give a heartfelt thank you to her parents who have done nothing but support, believe, and push her to be her best. She also extends her deepest gratitude to the creative team for their mentorship and love. It is truly a blessing to work with such a talented cast and crew. From Little Mermaid to now, they are the reason Savannah loves theater and will continue to enjoy it for years to come.

Simon Gary (Professor Porter) - Simon Gary is 22 and has been a part of 30+ productions over the past 12 years including The Prince of Egypt, Newsies, Seven Brides For Seven Brothers, Marry Poppins, and The Music Man. Simon is thrilled to be returning to Shine as Professor Porter in Tarzan. In his free time Simon enjoys spending time with his beautiful wife Lily as well as discovering new music. Simon has his degree in filmmaking, a minor in theatre, and a freelance media business (Anemoia Media) that he uses to honor God & support his family. Simon would like to thank God, his wife Lily, his family & friends, who have made this production a truly unforgettable season to remember. -1 Corinthians 9:19-23

Sisely Kindsfater (Ensemble) - Sisely is excited to be a part of Tarzan. Her acting debut was with Shine in Footloose playing Garvin. Studying dance and musical theatre started at a young age with Harmony Dance and AFPA. She receives vocal training, participates in school choir and serves on Highlands student worship team. When not on stage, you will find her on the soccer field, basketball court or golf range. Sisely still finds time to serve her community doing philanthropy work. She loves God, people, animals and a good book.

Sophia Noelle Montenegrino (Ensemble) - Sophia is excited to be part of her second Shine Theater production! She previously appeared in the ensemble of The Prince of Egypt and is thrilled to be back on stage as a bird in Tarzan — she can’t wait to fly! A high school freshman, Sophia is also a dedicated figure skater. When she’s not performing or at the rink, she runs her small crochet business, "Love, Sophia", where she creates adorable handmade animals. She’s a big fan of the NHL’s Anaheim Ducks, enjoys volunteering at Lifestream and loves spending time with her friends whenever she can.

Tracy Stoltz (Costume Designer, Production Manager) - Tracy has been part of the Shine Theatre family for the past 2.5 years, serving as both Costume Designer and Production Manager on multiple productions. She feels incredibly blessed to collaborate with such a talented and dedicated community, helping bring each show to life both behind the scenes and on stage. Tracy has designed costumes for several productions and was honored in 2025 with an AriZoni Award for Outstanding Costume Design for Shine’s production of The Little Mermaid. She is excited to continue creating and managing alongside this amazing team as they bring Tarzan to life. Finally, she would like to thank the Lord for all of His amazing blessings and for continually opening doors to do what she loves.

Victoria Sherrard (Set Director) - Vikke Sherrard is proud to serve as Set Director for this production. She has been part of the Shine family since its very first show, The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe. Although she has helped on sets with all the shows, Vikke took on the role as Set Director starting with the production of Anastasia. Last year, she received an AriZoni nomination in the category of Best Scenic Design for her work on The Little Mermaid. In addition to her work behind the scenes, she has also performed on stage in Shine productions of Mary Poppins and The Sound of Music, and most recently appeared as Miriam in Abundant Grace, written by Shine’s own *Logan Farrington. Vikke is grateful to be part of such a creative and supportive theater community.

Zac Ross (Clayton) - Zac is very honored to be brought in to be a part of Shine's production of Tarzan. He recently was doing theatre in the park with his very own theater company Desert Rose Theatre. He has most recently portrayed Romeo (Romeo and Juliet) and Algernon Moncrieff (the Importance of being Earnest). Zac studied Theatre Performance at Grand Canyon University where he received a BA. On the side Zac has been training with the Society of American Fight Directors, where he's now reached the position of Advanced Actor Combatant. He would like to thank his wife Sophie, and their two kids, Oliver and Brinlee for always supporting him in his art and passions.
