 Meet our talented cast and crew from Shine Theatre's production of Footloose: The Musical!

Ana King, Urleen
Ana is 16 years old and a Junior at GreatHearts, Scottsdale Prep, and has been pursuing her love for musical theatre her whole life. She started with ballet at three years old and has been doing theatre and other arts for about 13 years! Footloose will be her 14th show with Shine Theater Company, as Urleen, and with many more shows to come! Ana is so grateful for all the opportunities Shine has given her and what’s to come! She is so excited to have another amazing show with the Shine community! 

Arianna Vitelli, Bickle
Arianna will be an 8th grader at Sonoran Trails Middle School and is super excited to be in her 3rd Shine production! She loves all things 80s and Footloose is one of her favorite musicals! She loves hanging out with her family and friends, practicing jiu jitsu and listening to music.

Asher Dahl, Lyle
Asher is very excited to be part of Footloose. He recently played Shere Khan in the Jungle Book. This is his 4th Shine Theatre production, and he’s excited to take on the challenge of his first teen level show. When he’s not performing, Asher loves track, cross country, and music, and you can usually find him writing books, writing music or drawing. Big thanks to his family, friends, and leaders for all their support!

Ava Payne, Dani
Ava is thrilled to be playing Dani in this production of Footloose! She has previously performed in four stage productions and is excited to bring her energy and passion to her fifth. Ava takes vocal lessons to continue growing as a performer and loves every opportunity to be on stage. She is incredibly thankful for her wonderful directors, as well as her friends and family, for their constant love and support throughout her theater journey.

Brody Bauschka, Beyond the Stage Backstage Crew
Backstage - Brody is happy to have the opportunity to work backstage on his first show. He’s excited to learn from the Shine staff and be a part of this production. He enjoys playing different instruments and cooking. He thanks his family for their support.

Brooklynn Liberatore, Travis
Brooklynn is 13 and entering 8th grade in the fall. She enjoys vocal lessons and piano. Brooklynn has participated with Shine Theatre since its first production of The Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe, The Wind in the Willows, Mary Poppins, Descendants, Sound of Music, Finding Nemo Jr, High School Musical Jr, Anastasia, Little Mermaid, and is looking forward to her role as Travis in Footloose."

Chloe Sutton, Beyond the Stage Backstage Crew
Chloe is thrilled to be joining the backstage crew to assist with the costume and set designs. She has enjoyed several productions including Willy Wonka, Shrek, Sleeping Beauty, and Frozen. Outside of theater she enjoys gardening, drawing, crocheting, and reading. Chloe is looking forward to even more time in theater at Scottsdale Christian Academy as she enters 9th grade this school year.

Cheyenne Brunell, Betty Blast
Hi I’m Cheyenne, this is my 7th play I’ve done overall, but my third at shine theater. I have so much gratitude for my parents, Taffee and Chris Brunell, for providing me with the great opportunities to fulfill what I truly love doing. When I’m not on stage I love to paint, play guitar, play piano, or serve at church with the toddlers. I’m so grateful to be a part of footloose this season and can’t wait to see what God does in my life.

Emerson Reed, Eleanor Dunbar
Emerson is thrilled to return to Shine Theatre for her second production. She made her debut earlier this year in The Little Mermaid and is excited to take the stage as Eleanor Dunbar in Footloose. Emerson is a 14-year-old homeschooler who loves crafting, hanging out with her Boxer puppy Poppy, and listening to Taylor Swift. She’s grateful for the friendships and confidence Shine has helped her build. She wants to thank her grandma for finding Shine and never missing a rehearsal pick-up, and her mom for being her number one fan.

Finley Seidel, Rusty
Finley is 15 years old and an incoming sophomore at Chaparral High School. Recently, you might’ve seen her in The Little Mermaid as Scuttle, Anastasia as Tsarina, and The Sound of Music as Frau Schmidt. She’d like to thank everyone on the crew, but especially our choreographer Kebra for helping her (and dealing with her silliness) through this very dance-heavy show. She hopes you enjoy this production as much as she has enjoyed performing it! Rusty is such a joy to portray and Finley has had the best time beside her cast-mates creating and bringing this timeless story to life.

Jade Hoerner, Principle Clark
Jade is starting high school this Fall at Scottsdale Christian Academy, and is absolutely thrilled to be performing in Footloose this summer at Shine Theater. She has been in theater for four and a half years now, and has done seven productions overall, at both Shine Theater and Scottsdale Christian Academy. She loves performing in her school productions where Laura McGinnis directs theater, and teaches drama class. Jade took drama class for two and a half years. When Jade is not at school or on stage, she enjoys drawing, singing, and hanging out with family and friends. She is thankful to be part of this cast, and to have worked with everyone, especially Kinsey, Kebra, and Laura McGinnis.

Kaylie Gerhardt, Cop
Kaylie is sixteen years old and just finished her sophomore year at SCA. She's thrilled to be a part of Footloose at Shine. Her first production with Shine was The Little Mermaid, where she played Arista and a princess. She's done four productions at SCA since she started there as a freshman: Shrek (Mama Bear), Willy Wonka (Mrs. Turkentine), Frozen (Pabbie), and Sleeping Beauty (Spider). Kaylie's also a part of SCA's Choir and Honors Chorale. At their most recent concert, she had the privilege of singing a solo piece (In My Dreams from Anastasia) and getting to perform a duet with a senior. Kaylie's extremely excited for SCA's next production: The Wizard of Oz this fall.

Keira Kolander, Ariel
Keira is thrilled to make her very first theatrical debut as Ariel in Footloose the Musical. A versatile performer, she has trained for 11 years at The Dance Source, mastering styles from tap and ballet to lyrical and hip-hop. Currently, she studies acting under casting director Chris Gilmore in Los Angeles. In addition to performing, Keira enjoys figure skating, jiu-jitsu, and studying piano under Joslyn Obermeyer. She gives a shout-out to her dog, Panda, and her amazing dad for nurturing her lifelong passion for music and the arts


Killian Thompson, Ren
Killian is excited to be part of Shine Theatre's summer camp production of Footloose. He is 14 years old and will be a freshman at Cactus Shadows High School in the fall. In his free time, Killian plays golf and piano and is part of the Highlands youth worship team. He'd like to thank Laura and the creative team for all the time and effort they put into creating such a fun show.

Lexi Robinson, Cowgirl Jude
Lexi is extremely excited to be performing in Footloose at Shine Theatre! Past productions she has performed in include Beauty and the Beast: The Musical as Madame De La Grande Bouche, and Totally Murder as Michelle. She currently studies acting and singing at school, where she continues to grow as a performer. Lexi has also trained in dance and vocally for several years at Bender Performing Arts. She is always working hard to develop her skills through both performance and ongoing training. Lexi would like to thank her family for always supporting her and her passions!

Mason Nottoli, Willard Hewitt
Mason is joining the Shine Theatre Company for the first time. He is grateful to have taken part in many productions with Temple Performing Arts, most recently as Marius in Les Miserables and Pharaoh in Joseph and The Amazing Technicolor Dream Coat. Outside of the theatre, Mason enjoys being part of his high school swim and track teams. He would like to thank the Temple family and his family for their unwavering support.

Molly Heydenreich, Vi Moore
Molly is very excited to be a part of the Footloose production. She will be entering high-school this year attending highland prep surprise. She does alot of productions with her school theater troupe that she was the president of in the last year. They put on their first ever musical doing SpongeBob the musical and she played squidward. Her favorite role she ever played was Queen Duncan in the comedy play of Mmmbeth. She danced for 10 years at L.A. dance 6 of them competitively. She wants to thank her parents and family for all their support along with her theater instructors from school for helping me learn and grow as an actor.

Nagasiddhi Shivakumar, Lindsay
Nagasiddhi has shown an interest in theater since she was a little kid. Her first performance was in The Reindeer Games(Dancer) and then performed in Anastasia(Tatiana Romanov). She was also involved in Peter and the Starcatcher(Alf), The Brothers Grimm Spectaculathon(Cinderella, Hansel, and Dwarf 1), Willy Wonka(Mrs. Gloop), The Alibis(Warwick), and most recently, Matilda Jr.(Trunchbull). All of her previous shows were with Scorpion Theatre; this is her first time working with Shine Theatre Company, and is excited to be part of Footloose. Naga loves to sing and has been on many different stages with various famous artists. All shows she has done are dedicated to her Mom, Dad, and sister.

Neila Ngo, Wendy Jo
Neila Ngo, is a freshman at Boulder Creek High school. She is very excited to be playing the role of Wendy Jo in the cast of Footloose! Some of her previous Shine roles are, Sharpay (High School Musical), Evie (Descendants), Mrs.Corry (Mary Poppins), but her all-time favorite was performing as Bruce, from Matilda. When she’s not acting, she’s still singing on the worship team at church. When she’s not onstage, she’s running in Track or Cross Country. Neila thanks her parents who sacrifice so much for her and who are willing to do everything they can to support her in everything she wants to do.

Olivia Ruiz, Cowgirl Laura Jo
Olivia is extremely excited to perform in footloose at shine theatre. In the past Olivia has been middle Anna in frozen Jr, and Veruca Salt in Willy Wonka. She studies at Scottsdale Christian Academy and partakes in the theatre program at SCA. Olivia has also done club and school volleyball for four years and tennis since she was 4 years old, she has also found a recent love for dancing! Olivia would like to say thank you to her parents for always supporting her in passions and also her dance instructor for supporting her and helping her out with the choreography.

Rosaleen McLernon, Lulu
Rosaleen is a 15 year old who loves theatre. This will be her eighth show at Shine and she’s very excited!

Sahara Williams, Featured Ensemble
Sahara is excited to participate in Shine Theatre and join her first musical! Sahara loves art, hanging out with friends and traveling with her family. She has lived in 3 countries and is about to embark on another adventure. She wants to thank God, her Papa & Baba, her mom and dad and siblings for everything!

Sisely Kindsfater, Garvin
Sisely is excited for her acting debut in Shine Theatre's Footloose. Her previous stage credits include Highland's Harmony Dance Company and the Children's Choir. She is typically found on a soccer field, basketball court, golf range or volleyball court throughout the school year. She has enjoyed Shine Theatre from the audience numerous times. This production gave her the opportunity to stretch herself and appreciate the theatre even more. She thanks God for allowing her to be a part of this show.

Sophia Wingate, Stevie
Sophia Wingate is a passionate performer who loves both drama and musical theater. She’s excited to be in Footloose and can’t wait to learn all the songs! Her favorite part of acting is delivering lines that make the audience laugh. She has previously appeared in Beauty and the Beast, Seussical the Musical, High School Musical 2, Totally Murder, and Cyrano de Burger Shack. Each role has fueled her love for the stage and helped her grow as a performer. Whether singing, dancing, or acting, Sophia brings energy and heart to every show. She’s thrilled to be part of this production and hopes you enjoy the performance as much as she loves being in it!"

Sydney Stoneberg, Cowgirl Bonnie
Sydney is excited to be performing in her first show at Shine Theater Company. She is 13 years old going into 8th grade at Mountain Trail Middle School. Sydney’s most recent roles have been Tina (Goosebumps, Starlight), Emily Hobbs (Elf Jr, SYT), Ursula (The Little Mermaid, DST), Gabriella (High School Musical, Art & Sol) and Madame de la Grande Bouche (Beauty & the Beast, Art & Sol). She would like to thank the creative team and production team that have worked to create an amazing show and her family for being supportive along the way!
