Highlands Kids
Highlands Kids is all about encouraging families, children, and volunteers to grow in their faith together, connect in community, and live on mission for Jesus by actively serving our community in a fun and safe environment.
Weekend services
Highlands Kids programming is available for all kids from infants through 4th grade at both of our services in our Nursery (north side of the Worship Center lobby) and Kids Building on Sundays at 9:00 and 10:45am. The Highlands Kids building entrance is on the east side of the building, facing the playground.
Kids Baptism Class
Sunday, February 1st | 9:00-10:00am
South Conference Room in the Office Building
Our next baptism is Sunday, February 22nd during both services. This class is designed to teach the fundamentals of Baptism to kids. Parent attendance is highly encouraged. We believe that baptism is an outward and public declaration of faith in Jesus Christ.

Father Daughter Dance
Friday, February 27th | 6:00-8:00pm
Dads, make a special memory with your daughter at this western-themed evening filled with music, dancing, line dancing lessons, a photo booth, mechanical bull riding, yard games, burgers and hot dogs on the grill and more! Whether your daughter is 3 months or 33 years old, put on your boots, suits or your best western-chic and join us for a night to remember. Girls can attend with their dad, a grandfather, uncle, brother or any other special father- figure in their life. The cost to attend is $30 per family and includes dinner.
PARENT BOOST
Our Highlands Kids team would love to come alongside you during the week with Parent Boost: a simple, meaningful way to grow together in faith as a family sent once a week by text message. By signing up, you'll receive a Parent Boost text every Sunday evening that includes a Bedtime Blessing, Weekly Bible Lesson and Parents' Prayer.
Serve in Highlands kids
Serving in Highlands Kids is an incredible opportunity to grow in your faith, lead by your example, impact the next generation, and have fun doing so! We provide all of the curriculum, resources, and training needed so that serving is both FUN and EASY! Parents, if you have been searching for a way to help your family grow together in faith that is more than just "showing up on the weekends," this is an incredible opportunity to do that! Click the button below for more information.
Please note: we will perform background and reference checks on all potential Children's Ministry volunteers.
A Note About Safety
Highlands uses a unique, computer-generated security sticker check-in system. Children will only be released to the person with the matching pick-up sticker. Additionally, Highlands staff and volunteers undergo both background and reference screening. If you notice a safety or security concern during your time at Highlands, please notify a member of our staff or safety team promptly so that together, we can continue keeping our kids safe.
Family Resource Guide
Jesus said, "Come, follow Me." He invited regular people to walk step by step with Him. We have several opportunities and resources available to help you grow in faith and empower you to teach others to do the same. Our Family Resource Guide was compiled by our entire Family Ministry team to help your family grow together in faith. These resources include books, podcasts, videos, games and more - all designed to help you have faith-filled conversations and interactions throughout your week.
