Highlands Kids
Highlands Kids is all about encouraging families, children, and volunteers to take their next step toward Jesus, helping families grow together in faith, and actively serving our community in a fun and safe environment.
Weekend services
Highlands Kids programming is available for all kids from infants through 6th grade at both of our services in our Nursery (north side of the Worship Center lobby) and Kids Building on Sundays at 9:00 and 10:45am. The Highlands Kids building entrance is on the east side of the building, facing the playground.
Mother-Son Olympics
November 23rd | 2:00-4:00pm
Moms and their sons are invited to join us for an afternoon of relays, silly competition and fun on the Highlands playground and campus. Create memories with your son, meet other Highlands families, and share a laugh or two!
Family Resource Guide
Jesus said, "Come, follow Me." He invited regular people to walk step by step with Him. We have several opportunities and resources available to help you grow in faith and empower you to teach others to do the same. Our Family Resource Guide was compiled by our entire Family Ministry team to help your family grow together in faith. These resources include books, podcasts, videos, games and more - all designed to help you have faith-filled conversations and interactions throughout your week.

We provide all of the curriculum, resources, and training needed so that serving is both FUN and EASY! Parents, if you have been searching for a way to help your family grow together in faith that is more than just "showing up on the weekends," this is an incredible opportunity to do that! Please note: we will perform background and reference checks on all potential Children's Ministry volunteers.
Child Dedications
Info Class: April 13th at 9:00am
Service: May 11th at 9:00 & 10:45am
Child Dedication is a public commitment parents make before God, the church, and their family. The dedication provides parents an opportunity to express their desire to teach their kids about Jesus and encourage their relationship with him. It's also a chance for the church to express their support and commitment to nurturing families as a community. Parents are required to attend a brief Child Dedication class on September 29th. To sign up, please let us know the service time on October 20th in which you would like to dedicate your kids:
A Note About Safety
Highlands uses a unique, computer-generated security sticker check-in system. Children will only be released to the person with the matching pick-up sticker. Additionally, Highlands staff and volunteers undergo both background and reference screening. If you notice a safety or security concern during your time at Highlands, please notify a member of our staff or safety team promptly so that together, we can continue keeping our kids safe.
