Making Biblical Choices in a Secular System
Every election cycle we're faced with the challenge of voting through a system in which candidates and policies are far from biblical. Do we simply choose the 'lesser of two evils'? Do we opt out? There's also a temptation for some to see a particular policy or candidate as our only hope, leading to anxiety over elections and outcomes that we were never meant to carry.
Pastors Joe Infranco and Ed Lutz will lead this discussion of how we faithfully steward the opportunity elections give us to speak into the direction of our society and advocate for good laws. They'll provide a biblical framework through which we can evaluate policies and candidates, and encourage us toward the perspective of being ambassadors for God's Kingdom - having a heart for our broken world while keeping our ultimate hope fixed on our eternity to come.
