Our Marketplace Ministry Forums feature a presentation by a notable business leader on what it means to thrive in the workplace as a follower of Christ. Forums are designed to connect business people within the church as well as to train and inspire participants to excel in the workplace. Following the presentation, there will be time for small group discussion and networking.

Many Christians experience tension between their workplace and their faith, both as employees and employers. Can a for-profit business have a religious mission or identity? If so, are there limits? Are religious nonprofits treated differently? Additionally, employees are generally entitled to religious accommodations for their faith, and a recent US Supreme Court decision has strengthened that idea in favor of religious exercise. We'll be discussing these issues and more within the challenging intersection of faith and employment.
