Charles Christian, 7th grade boys

Charles Christian was born in Chicago, Illinois and raised in Scottsdale, Arizona. Being a people person, he has been serving on the worship team and ministering to the community of Highlands as a part of different outreaches for over a decade. His heart is to lead the young students of the junior high ministry to a much deeper relationship with Jesus Christ.




Jack Blunier, 7th grade boys

Jack was raised here in Scottsdale, Arizona. He has been heavily involved in the worship ministry here at Highlands since he was in Junior High, and he loves leading HJH students closer to God.





Logan Farrington, 7th grade boys

Logan has been involved at Highlands Church for longer than he can remember! He accepted Christ at the age of eight, and has wanted to share the Good News with others ever since! He is currently studying Chemical Engineering at ASU, and some of his hobbies include reading, writing, and rowing.




Collin Woods, 8th grade boys

Collin was born and raised in Scottsdale, Arizona. After playing basketball collegiately, he was given the opportunity to help mentor students in HJH. His hobbies include playing basketball, fishing, and hanging out with friends.





Grant Oulton, 8th grade boys

Grant is currently a student at Fuller Theological Seminary and is studying to be a Marriage and family counselor. He has had a heart to serve junior high since he was a junior in high school. Grant loves to spend his free time reading, hanging out with friends and taking long hikes. 





 Marissa Clark, 7th Grade Girls

After coming to Highlands 2 and a half years ago, Marissa knew she wanted to serve in HJH because of her own experiences in middle school. Jesus has moved in big ways in Marissa’s life, and she wants to be there to experience that in the lives of these students. As a sophomore in college, Marissa is studying to be a Pediatric Oncology Nurse.




 Madi branson, 7th grade girls

Madi is currently a senior at GCU, studying to become a teacher. She has been attending Highlands Church for almost 4 years, and has been serving in student ministries ever since. She is very passionate about working with students to  help them grow in their faith, and show them the love of Christ!




 autumn butler, 7th grade girls

Autumn grew up in Prescott, Arizona and moved to Scottsdale a year ago. She is grateful to be on the HJH team and to help the students develop and grow in their own personal relationships with the Lord. She loves seeing the students apply His promises and truths in their life.




 Delaney Baumann, 7th Grade Girls

Delaney has been with Highlands for the past 14 years. During the Spring of 2018, the Lord put it on her heart to serve in HJH. Soon after, she became a leader to the 7th grade girls. She is dedicated to sharing with others how the Lord has changed her life!





 Kaesie Carroll, 8th Grade Girls

Kaesie was born and raised in Scottsdale, Arizona.  She has been attending Highlands Church for 10 years, and accepted Christ into her life during her sophomore year of high school. Since then, Kaesie has discovered her love for worship music, and loves to praise the Lord through worship. Kaesie has a desire to lead and help junior high students through their lives by pointing them towards Christ.




 Edwina Behrens, 8th grade girls

Edwina has been involved at Highlands Church for 9 years. The Lord called her to Junior High Ministry a year and a half ago. She gave her life to Christ as a middle schooler at church camp, and in turn wants to share that life-changing hope with our Junior Higher's.

Logan has been at Highlands Church since she was in junior high. She gave her life to the Lord when she was in 8th grade. She studies nursing at ASU. She loves serving the Lord by working with the junior high girls and showing them the love of Christ through her actions.
